Experience came in handy for the ropers in the USTRC Cinch NFTR #9.5 Legends over 50 short round, with 14 of the 20 teams that came back catching. Clearly disappointing for the high team back, as the heeler's dally couldn't be secured to win the roping. Les Brock and Robert Berndsen had a great run on their final steer, winning the fast time with a time of 7.97. The winners of the roping were the third call back team of Ross Harley & Greg Robertson, who had a total time of 36.98 on 4 steers. They take home $24,000, Gist Silversmith Buckles, Resistol Hats, and HorsePower Boots. Congratulations to all of the winners, with eight aggregate spots and fast in the short go sharing in the $87,500 payout.
