The over 40 crowd is all tuned up to enter one of the USTRC Cinch NFTR Legends event. The last event of the day on Wednesday and the 2nd Legends event featured the #11.5 Legends over 40, with a lot of ropers taking advantage of the draw in option. The Andy Mahard won both 4th and 8th place, which paid $12,000 and $5,500 respectively, while roping producer James Watson won both 6th and 8th place, taking home $7,500 & $5,500 with his partners. The big winners – a draw team, with a time of 32 flat on 4, was second high team back Shawn Edwards and Darrell Hicks, who had a speedy round time of 7.42. Shawn and Darrell take home $28,000, Gist Buckles, Resistol Hats, and Horse Power Boots. The total payout for this roping $109,500.
